Favorite Videos I watch these video when the TV offerings don't intrigue me.
Added The Saint with Val Kilmer a long time ago however. Thought it was a great story. They did what the makers of Mission:Impossible should have done. Kept to a great story. Val Kilmer was a good choice. The make-up artisans should be congratulated and an award most definitively is deserved. Liked Elizabeth Shue in this also. Always have enjoyed Adventures in Babysitting and Hearts and Souls is a favorite of mine. The bad guys were great. You really hated them! Loved the touch at the end with Roger Moore! Have also added Absolute Power to my video collection. I had read the book and couldn't put it down until I finished. I was curious as to what changes would be made in the story for the screen, after all, it is a Clint Eastwood movie. I thought they did a pretty good editing job of taking out the side stories, although I missed the boyfriend/lawyer character. I even had him cast in my mind. Anyway, it is a good movie. I was intriqued by the choice for President however, I know he is a friend of Clint's, but the book does describe the President has handsome. Even though I like Gene Hackman as an actor, I wouldn't classify him as handsome. But it worked. I guess an argument would be something like power is sexy or whatever. But, you have got to read the book even if you see the movie. I loved Eraser! If you are an Arnold fan, it is the perfect Arnold movie! It has excitement from the beginning right up to the very bitter end! There are some great Arnold scenes, one of my favorite is when he comes up through the floor! This is definitely worth adding to your collection if you are an Arnold fan. In the Line of Fire with Clint Eastwood. Has great character studies. Big with Tom Hanks. I can watch this over and over. And I do! Star Wars et al. My favorite thing to do is to watch the trilogy straight through! Indiana Jones. I also repeatedly go on the new ride at Disneyland! Cool ride! The Fugitive. Loved the tv program as a kid; the director, etc. did a good job of moving the loved series to a great movie! This is a regular on my rotation. True Lies. I adore Arnold! And I just love this movie! Tango anyone? Three Men and a Baby. If you have previously read about my cats, and know their names, you probably take it for granted that I love Tom Selleck and his movies.
If you would like to get the video of a movie I've commented on and add it to your own collection I've included a link to Amazon.com for your convenience. Yes, I do get a percentage of sales, and all proceeds, if any, will be donated to the Animal Companion Village animal shelter in Long Beach, California.
